How to Generate a Review QR Code (and Get a Review Scanner for Your Counter)
By Parag Prajapati · 5 min read
A review QR code lets customers open your Google review page by pointing their phone camera at it. Printed on a small stand — often called a review scanner — it sits on your counter or table and quietly collects reviews all day.
Step 1: Get your Google review link
Open your Google Business Profile while signed in, click "Ask for reviews" and copy the short link. This is the page your QR code will open.
Step 2: Generate the review QR code
- Sign in to SmartReviewer AI and add your business.
- Paste your Google review link (or connect your Google profile directly).
- Your review QR code is created automatically — download it as a PNG or a print-ready PDF.
Step 3: Turn it into a review scanner
Print the PDF on card, place it in an acrylic stand, or stick it on menus, bills and packaging. Add one line like "Enjoyed your visit? Scan to review us" so people know what it's for.
Why an AI review QR code works better
A plain QR code only opens the review form. An AI QR code asks for a star rating first, then suggests short or long review drafts in the customer's language. They edit, copy and post in seconds — and unhappy customers can send you private feedback instead.
Tips for more scans
- Place the scanner where customers wait or pay.
- Ask staff to mention it after a good experience.
- Use one QR per outlet so you can compare scans in your dashboard.
